‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 4 spoilers: The Spirit of Vengeance present in new Ghost Rider photo

The fourth season of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” is certainly going to be crazy, and if you wanted some further evidence of that, you don’t have to do anything other than remind yourself that Ghost Rider is going to be a part of it. Think back to this point last year. Did you ever think that we’d be seeing the Spirit of Vengeance on this show?

Yet, here we are, and the photo below via Yahoo! TV is probably the closest look you’ve had to see of Ghost Rider with his powers fully activated. This certainly is a pretty freaky adaptation of the character, or at least the new one established in the Marvel NOW comics. He drives a car in this version, is named Robbie Reyes rather than Johnny Blaze, and in this case is played by Gabriel Luna.

In the end, how he fits in with the rest of the show could be one of the big mysteries, since we don’t even know as of yet precisely where his loyalties lie, and whether or not he’ll be someone the other members of SHIELD can really trust. Heck, we’re already wondering if he could be set up for a spin-off down the road given that Marvel has tried this with ABC the past two years.

Luckily, we’re going to get a chance to learn more about this character in due time, as the premiere is certainly not too far away! We’ll have more news shortly.
