‘The Bachelor’ could still hire Luke Pell in the future, says Chris Harrison
If you are a fan of Luke Pell and want to see him as “The Bachelor” someday, even though he was passed over this year, not all hope may be gone. After all, the show’s host in Chris Harrison has made it really clear that the military veteran and singer-songwriter could end up getting the role down the road.
Speaking to E! News, the host had the following to say:
“Luke would be a great Bachelor … You never know who could come back. He’s a great guy – a super nice guy. We may see him next summer in Paradise [or] we may see him as the next Bachelor. Who knows?”
We do certainly think that Pell will be asked to do something moving forward, whether it be “Paradise” or the flagship show. It’s just too early to tell, since there could be someone else who the series considers to be worthy of the lead role moving forward. Also, there’s the whole question as to whether or not Luke even wants to go through the process again. Based on some recent comments from him, we do wonder whether he would prefer to stay in the real world looking for love. After all, this is a guy who was burned pretty badly this time in that he had his bags packed and he was ready to head to Los Angeles, only to learn a day or two before that he would not actually be getting the gig.
Nick Viall was hired in the place of Pell, and his season of the show will take place for ABC early next year.
