‘The Blacklist’ season 4 spoilers: Liz Keen’s latest trust issues
The fourth season of “The Blacklist” is going to start off with a big question: Is Alexander Kirk telling the truth? At the end of the season 3 finale, Liz Keen heard from him that he was her biological father, and as a result of that, we could have a series-long mystery solved! Unfortunately, the operating word there is “could,” given that there is still certainly a chance that this does not turn out exactly in the way in which anyone expects.
We can’t tell you as of yet whether or not Liz and Kirk are related; however, we can tell you that in the second episode of season 4 entitled “Mato” (airing on September 29) is still going to feature Liz asking many questions. You can consider the synopsis below to be further evidence of this:
“Red (James Spader) enlists Tom and the Task Force to help track a notorious bounty hunter who may know Alexander Kirk’s next move. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) struggles to decide if Kirk is trustworthy.”
One of the appeals of this episode comes from seeing Red and Tom figuring out a way to work together, which may not be easy given their fractured history to date. Can they manage to get on the same page? We have a hard time figuring that out, but seeing the back-and-forth here should prove entertaining. With that being said, we do hope that there is a chance for Liz to be reunited with the other main characters sooner rather than later, if it does not happen within the scope of the premiere.
