‘Ink Master’ season 8, episode 3 video: A flash challenge all about shifting sands

On Tuesday night’s new episode of “Ink Master,” we’re going to see Precision be the name of the game, and with that, Team Peck is going to be under the microscope as they go through a series of tasks.

Before we get too far into this preview article, we have to first start with this: Why in the world are we going round-robin between the teams for these challenges? We’d much prefer this be similar to “Survivor,” where both teams take part in the Flash Challenge, and then maybe the winning team gets immunity. From there, you can then segment things off so that the losing team fights to stay alive. We don’t really care if the teams remain even, since you really should be rewarding the team that is performing better by allowing them to stay in the competition longer than the opposition.

Anyhow, the video below gives you a taste of what Team Peck is going to be working on, as they will get some good ol’-fashioned product placement by having to build sandcastles that symbolize the “happy place” of a selected Team Nunez team member. Pairing sandcastles with precision is far from easy, giving that these crumble in the blink of an eye without the right amount of water distribution.

Also, how much time to do you want to bet some of these tattoo artists are spending at the beach making sandcastles? We’re betting not much, which makes this especially tricky for many of them.
