‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ review: Caila Quinn leaves; the Wells Adams web of romance
We are getting very close to the finale of “Bachelor in Paradise,” and with that of course comes an opportunity to see a little bit more drama, drama, and did we mention drama? It’s really the name of the game with this show.
We suppose that the primary order of business here is talking about the big departure of Caila Quinn, which predictably happened as a result of Ashley Iaconetti making her life a living hell. Maybe there’s a chance for her and Jared Haibon having something off the show. After all, it doesn’t appear that there is a whole lot of a chance for them on it given present circumstances. Following their exit, Ashley of course did her best to keep it together, but it probably would’ve been much easier had there not been so much drama around her new beau Wells Adams.
Oh, and some other stuff happened. Take, for example, the arrival of Lauren H. a.k.a. someone you barely remember. Also, we were reminded of just how much we missed Daniel Maguire, and how this show really has to figure out a different way to structure the endgame. At this point in the season there are always WAY too many people, and very few of them are people we actually care about.
Also tonight, everyone’s still concerned about Josh Murray. STILL. Many things change on this show regularly, but a few others remain steady as a rock. Hitting us over and over again with the same stories is one of them. There are some couples we’re rooting for (think Evan and Carly for some reason), but there are others we’ll probably forget in a week or two.
