‘Scorpion’ season 3 goes into the depths
At the moment, the bosses over at “Scorpion” have done a good job of keeping the majority of the stories under wraps, and they are still doing that. Beyond the events of the premiere (which will hopefully give us something on the Walter / Paige front), almost everything else is still behind closed doors.
What we have for you now doesn’t necessarily give too much away in terms of the story, but it does at least give you a clue about an upcoming setting! In a post on Instagram, Robert Patrick (best known for playing the part of Cabe) made it clear that a part of an upcoming episode will take place in a cave, one that the hard-working crew is spending almost all of their time over the course of the next week in order to build. While this is likely costing a hefty chunk of change for the crew to build, we suppose it’s still cheaper when the dust settles than having to go out and visit a real cave.
More than anything on this coming season, we want to see the show continue to embrace its funny side. While we know that it can deliver the action and the drama like nobody’s business, our favorite episodes are the ones where things get a little silly. It brings us back to some of our other favorite hour-long series like a “Chuck” or a “Psych,” where you have quirky characters getting thrown into heroic positions.
New episodes of “Scorpion” will begin in a matter of less than a month and a half. Get ready!

The interaction between quirky characters makes shows like Chuck, Psych, Monk, Scorpion, and NCIS so enjoyable. The characters are human, and its not just about the dramatic plot line.
