‘Gotham’ season 3 spoilers: David Mazouz on Bruce Wayne doppelganger

With the third season of “Gotham” comes inevitably some more stories and surprises, and there are few out there that have quite the shock value of the lookalike to Bruce Wanye, someone who just so happens to be an escapee of Indian Hill. Is this intentional? Does this character have it out for Bruce in some way? These are of course questions we’re looking to have answers for at some point in the future.

For now, though, David Mazouz cannot say too much about the part, though he did give a pretty fun description of the role to ComicBook.com:

“In terms of fun, definitely the doppelganger has been more fun to play … I don’t want to give too much away, but this character is nothing like Bruce Wayne. The only similarity that they have is that they look shockingly like David Mazouz.

“Everything else about them, they think differently, they talk differently, they walk differently, they communicate differently. He’s pretty weird, the other guy.”

Mazouz did also share that there are some scenes coming up where Bruce and this guy are going to come face-to-face, and you had to assume that was coming. After all, why in the world even bother with the creation of this said character unless you had plans to completely pair him up with the man who someday will be Batman?

Obviously, we presume that there are going to be some other crazy circumstances that arrive on the third season early on, whether it be Ivy suddenly becoming an adult or Fish Mooney 2.0 wrecking havoc on the city. who knows? Maybe compared to some of this, Bruce having an alter ego will seem normal.
