‘Blindspot’ season 2 spoilers: New scoop on premiere!

It’s been a long summer for “Blindspot” fans, given that the final episodes of season 1 unfolded quite a bit of mythology, while at the same time removing someone from the equation in Mayfair who was rather valuable to the cause. There is a little bit of mystery coming into the second season as a result of that, and it’s something that we’re excited to get into when the show returns next month to NBC.

With that in mind, who is ready for some of the first details surrounding what lies ahead in the first episode? The following details were made available via SpoilerTV, and they could be an introduction to a new organization and an interesting character played by Archie Panjabi:

“After escaping from CIA custody, the team recaptures Jane and convinces her to become a triple-agent within her old terrorist organization where she unlocks some major secrets from her past, while recent betrayals from both sides threaten to tear her and the team apart for good.”

There have certainly been some teasers out there suggesting that the show will give you significant answers as to Jane’s past in the early going, but we don’t want to get too excited about those just yet simply because we don’t know precisely what those answers will be. Instead, we’re just hoping that the show continues to delve into interesting, psychological mysteries, something that we anticipate the show giving us a little bit more of in the second season thanks to it airing at 8:00 p.m. Eastern rather than 10:00. It’s in more of a family hour, so we expect the action sequences to be done a little differently.
