‘Dancing with the Stars 23’ spoilers: Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds latest to join cast

For the latest season of “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC, we’re apparently going to have a chance to see music royalty compete for the famed Mirrorball Trophy.

According to a new report coming in from Us Weekly, R&B icon Kenneth “Babyface Edmonds” is going to be appearing as one of the stars for season 23, and he will be performing with none other than returning pro Allison Holker. While this is not confirmed by ABC, the vast majority of time people who are reportedly a part of the show at this time tend to end up being a part of it in the end.

For older viewers, Edmonds could be the sort of person they gravitate to with their votes and their support. His challenge, meanwhile, seems to be fairly simple: How do you get the younger voters on board? There are more than likely going to be some people out there who don’t really have too great of an idea who he is, or what he has accomplished. That’s a shame, but in the age of so much consumption in the present, music fans aren’t even taking the time to see who was famous a couple of decades in the past.

If you’re eager to have more of the cast confirmed, rest assured that you aren’t going to be waiting a particularly long time. After all, the current plan at present is for ABC to reveal their lineup on “Good Morning America” come Tuesday morning.
