‘Dancing with the Stars 23’ reportedly has ‘Little Women: LA’ star on board

Dancing with the Stars

Even though “Dancing with the Stars” may not be confirming their full season 23 cast until Tuesday, they may as well be doing so already based on some of the reports that are out there announcing various cast members.

So far, some of the oft-discussed names include Olympian Ryan Lochte, model / host Amber Rose, and former “Bachelorette” JoJo Fletcher. However, none of these names are official, and you can now add Terra Jole to the list. According to Us Weekly, the “Little Women: LA” star could be the latest addition to the series, which would be notable given that the show has not welcomed many little people as contestants over the years. She would face some physical challenges, but this show has proven over the years that there are so many different ways to express and celebrate dance. Just look at Nyle DiMarco, the reigning champ who won without even being able to hear the music.

We’re not going to admit to being someone particularly familiar with Jole, having never seen her work on the show. Yet, at the same time we’re always going to root for interesting castings, and that is precisely what we believe is present here. Given that there has been more than a decade’s worth of seasons to date, the show has to figure out a way to cast performers with stories and perspectives we haven’t seen before. Otherwise, they do all tend to blend together.

The new “Dancing with the Stars” season will begin airing in September.
