‘Scream Queens’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum signs up

Through two seasons, we’ve seen some sort of connection between “Scream Queens” and “Saturday Night Live” over at NBC. During the first season, we saw this in the form of Nasim Pedrad stopping by. Meanwhile, for season 2 it appears like we’re going to be seeing none other than Cheri Oteri.

In a post on Twitter, Oteri first made it clear that she was at the set of the Ryan Murphy series, and TVLine has confirmed that she will be a part of it in some shape or form. As for precisely who she is playing, the jury’s still out on that. Our hope is that this is a gig that could at least span a few episodes, given that Oteri and her sense of humor would fit perfectly into this world.

What we do know for certain is that Cheri is joining a world that is already jam-packed full of great performers both in terms of old and new faces. The two most prominent new additions this season are John Stamos and Taylor Lautner, but there are some others who will be popping up here and there over time. This is a show that does in many ways thrive on the mystery of it all, so we certainly expect that producers aren’t going to be altogether interested in giving everything away in terms of what is coming up just yet.
