‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: How dare someone play the game?!
While we loathed Paulie’s presence for much of this season, this was an area that we had some sympathy for him. When he was kept on the block with Corey last week, it was obvious he was going home, but doesn’t he have a right to fight to stay alive? Sure, some of the ways in which he was campaigning were especially irritating, but it’s certainly better than watching someone do nothing and sleep the final days away.
This afternoon, we’ve witnessed quite a bit of how-dare-you attitude coming from James and Natalie, who are acting the way that cocky people sometimes do when they’re in control of the game, saying that Paul and Victor are ignoring them and relishing in the though of sending the latter out the door this week. It’s understandable to want to wield power over others, given that we’ve seen Paul act similar this season. The reality here, though, is that it leaves open the possibility of a blindside. Natalie went as far as to say that Paul is ruining her Head of Household reign by playing too hard.
What James and Natalie are not fully realizing this week, outside of the returning juror twist, is that it’s easy to go from the king and queen to the dungeon. While Nicole and Corey are saying that they want to go to the final four with them, it makes more sense to take one of them out in the final five given that you know they will be loyal to each other over everyone else. Also, there may be a perception that they could win a jury vote.
Ultimately, Natalie’s just got a little bit of a case of HoH-itis, which is understandable given that Paul, Victor, and Paulie have also had it this season. She just needs to snap back to normal soon before she starts to fall a step behind.
