‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Pressure’s on Paul as Veto looms

Paul -

At this point, the Power of Veto of Competition should be starting to get underway in the “Big Brother” house, and the tables have seemingly turned once again after an extremely exciting night of gameplay the night before.

What’s happened? Well, it is really so simple as James playing spoiler for the most part to the idea of getting out Corey this week. Paul had done a superb job getting the vote to flip, but he pushed a little too hard to make sure the Veto was used on him rather than Victor. This in turn seemed to be the catalyst for Natalie airing out her frustrations, and James taking the opportunity to subtly push her in his direction. Maybe this would’ve happened anyway, but we do blame Paul to a certain extent for that.

What this means now is that this Veto is a must-win situation for Paul, given that if he doesn’t win it is hard to see a configuration where he stays unless he orchestrates another crazy vote-flip. The good news is that this challenge could have a strong mental component to it, and he is rather good at these. It also helps him that Natalie seems to be intent on her and James not getting any more blood on their hands, and they may not try hard to win it. This means that we could have Michelle (who has less incentive to win it really), Corey (who already thinks he’s screwed), Victor, and Paul competing.

We’ll have the full results of what happens a little later. This should prove to be interesting!
