‘The Bachelorette’: JoJo Fletcher’s fiance Jordan Rodgers faces allegations from ex Brittany Farrar

Jordan -Mrs. Carter: Right when you thought the drama from this past season of “The Bachelorette” was over…

If you are a follower of the show online, you probably have heard the name of Brittany Farrar before. The Nashville-based trainer is one of the more prominent exes of JoJo Fletcher’s final rose recipient and fiance Jordan Rodgers, and there have been claims of infidelity out there on his part during their relationship. There were vague references of mistakes on his part when JoJo asked him about his history on the show, but nothing that came close to a confession.

Now, Farrar is sharing her side, and it’s pretty clear that she’s not just doing this out of a thirst for fame. Clearly, she could have come out during the season and said whatever she wanted, but following a comment after the premiere, she decided not to. As a matter of fact, her comments seem mostly based out of retaliation for the way in which Rodgers has spoken about her and others since the show. You can see the full post over on her Instagram, but we’ve isolated her explanation as to why she’s coming forward now — it’s the most relevant part of this when it comes to timing:

“I was hoping that would be the first and the last, but then the show ends (Hey, you’re finally a winner!) and he starts calling me a liar … With the power of a press tour, his lies reached our hometown and my family and friends are now constantly approached by mutual acquaintances. After weeks of this, I started wondering why I feel like I’m the one who should be silent when he was the one who jumped on a reality show hoping to catch fame as a last ditch attempt to make something of himself.”

She goes on to call him a “prolific liar” and cheater, and in a second post that has now been deleted, she provided some text conversations and even a receipt for roses that she claims were for someone he cheated on her with. One other point that Farrar is clearly right about is that EASILY she could have sold this story to a tabloid for a ton of money, but she chose not to because fame isn’t her motivating factor so much as her reputation.

Suffice it to say, we’re very interested in seeing how Jordan responds to this, if he does at all. He may just be hoping that all of this vanishes from the news cycle in a couple of days, and it’s certainly also possible that he and JoJo have already talked all of this out. We’re not in their relationship; it’s better we don’t pretend to be, but you can’t ignore the past (whatever it may be) as an isolated series of events with different people involved.
