‘Scorpion’ season 3 premiere: What should happen
The third season of “Scorpion” will be here on CBS before you know it, and as a result of that now seems like the perfect time to get into specifics about what should be coming up in the premiere episode! With the way in which the show ended its second season, we certainly think that there is a heck of a lot of good stuff to explore.
Where we left off – In the second 2 finale, the good news is that everyone emerged in one piece from yet another crisis — especially for Toby, who found himself in perhaps the greatest danger of all. After going through what he did, he thought the timing was right for him to propose to Happy, but there was a major wrench thrown into things when she admitted to happen that she was technically already married.
Meanwhile, Walter O’Brien was finally told to let go of whatever insecurities he may have and give professing his feelings to Paige a shot. Therefore, he made arguably one of his biggest moves to date in chasing after her and Tim Armstrong, ironically while they were on a trip that he gifted to the two of them. That’s our cliffhanger.
What should happen – Based on the details that have already been released by the network, one of the biggest things that we can expect is another mission that is so critical, it causes all of the romance to be temporarily derailed. We’re fine with that given the show needs its action sequences, but we certainly do not want it to be permanent. This is a series that is better off when it is balancing things around, so we hope that we at least get some sort of confession from Walter within the first episode.
As for Toby, it’d be great to meet the guy Happy is still married to by the end of the premiere. If that doesn’t happen, we’d settle for learning a little bit more about him, and also the situation that led to the two of them being in this current predicament.
