‘Ink Master’ season 8, episode 8 preview: The battle of sexes rages on

Tonight’s new episode of “Ink Master” put Team Nunez in the spotlight, and showed us all sorts of tattoos themed around new-school landmarks. Some were good, whereas others were riddled with so many errors that it felt clear who was in danger. Tonight was simply not Tuff Tito’s night. He was sent out the door tonight.

What the show did after this episode is showcase a little bit of a different preview than usual, one that looked ahead to the majority of the competition and a time in which there are no longer teams. Everyone will be competing against everyone. Some of the women this season banded together early on, and this will be a true test of their loyalty, and whether or not they are able to withstand some of the new challenges and temptations to turn on one another.

Not only that, but they’ll have to withstand a lot of drama to go along with that. It certainly looks like this alliance could create some nastiness between the men and the women, and some comments that are probably only going to set people off further.

On the tattooing side, one upcoming challenge in particular looks terrifying: A twelve-hour task involving a head tattoo, notorious for being both incredibly tough and also painful. By the end of this season, we could be looking at a test of wills, and who can think on their feet while also handling the endurance of challenges that are even longer than usual.
