‘Ink Master’ season 8, episode 7 preview: Tattooing scars and is Nikki Simpson a target?
Gian Karle went after the top dogs on this week’s episode of “Ink Master” with a “sorry, not sorry” smile on his face. The women have been dominating this season and they are in an alliance to boot, so as much as we love the ladies this season, it made perfect sense for Gian to target them. Was he able to send one of them home? Click on the link here if you want to know who went home tonight (we don’t want to spoil it here for people that don’t know yet), but if you want to know what’s coming up next time, then read on.
We have seen some pretty powerful tattoo segments on this show in the past (like when they had artists tattooing breast cancer survivor scars) and they are always our favorite episodes. There’s something really powerful about getting a tattoo, but getting one a permanent scar and changing something difficult into something creative and gorgeous is something else entirely. Next week the artists will be tattooing permanent scars and helping canvases heal from their past.
Nikki Simpson is a solid tattoo artist, there’s no question about that, and we could see her making it to the winner’s circle, but the preview for next week reveals that she is rubbing some of the artists the wrong way. We saw her get into a fight with BoneFace tonight after he said some not so nice things about her (things that we refuse to repeat), but it looks like next week it’s going to be Sketchy Lawyer that has had enough of her. There are a lot of people in the competition that have been tattooing longer than Nikki and are taking issue with her giving everyone critiques when she hasn’t put in the years that they have. Is this going to be the thing that ends up putting a target Nikki?
