‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4, episode 11 preview: ‘Meet the New Beast’

Tonight’s “Beauty and the Beast” episode was excellent in establishing a further sense of drama, it also introduced us to what is a particularly dangerous final act for the series on The CW. We’re not sure how else you can possibly describe introducing a new Beast this late in the game.

Will we get to meet this character over the course of August 25’s “Meet the New Beast”? Given that title, that seems likely. One other thing that Catherine and Vincent may have to worry about is their secret getting out there thanks to some of the information that Braxton had, and as a result of that, they are considering having a life on the run more so than they ever have before. It’s a bold, interesting move, but one that they probably do need to consider at this particular point in time.

Ultimately, we expect a pretty action-packed hour of television complete with a few more revelations, but at the same time probably a healthy dose of fear when you consider for a minute precisely how much some of these characters do have to lose. There is a rather enormous amount at stake, and all of this could lead to a shocking conclusion. Let’s hope that there is some happiness on the other side of it, even if it does mean that our heroes have to spend the rest of their lives under new names and in a completely new world. (Given the way things are going, this is feeling more and more like a possibility by the second.)
