‘Quantico’ season 2 spoilers: Henry Czerny of ‘Revenge’ set to return

At the end of “Quantico” season 1, we had a particularly notable guest turn from “Revenge” alum Henry Czerny as a guy who could easily change the life of Alex Parrish in a big way. He gave her an offer, and it certainly seems like he is her gateway to the CIA after spending all of season 1 with the FBI.

Now, we’re getting official word that Czerny will in fact return as Matthew Keyes, the operative who could play a big role in Alex’s integration into her new world. Per a report from Deadline, Czerny will return on a recurring basis, which means that you’ll be getting a chance to see him across multiple episodes of season 2.

Since departing “Revenge” and the role of Conrad Grayson, we have seen Czerny pop up in various places. Most notably, he played the father of Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) on the first season of “Supergirl,” and was a supervillain otherwise known as Toyman. Thanks in part to his performance, this episode was one of the strongest installments of the season.

This is just one of many new additions to the “Quantico” cast for the coming season, with another notable one being the addition of Blair Underwood. With the series moving to New York City, we imagine that this is one of the many reasons in which the series is appealing to a wide array of guest stars.
