‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 begins filming with Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, cast
You’ve waited for most of the summer so far to see “Once Upon a Time” begin again with its sixth season, and we are at least pleased to now say that we are another step closer to that happening. Why? Today was the official start of production!
As of now Lana Parrilla, Jennifer Morrison, and many of the other cast members are back in Vancouver, where they are filming new episodes set to air on ABC in the new year. Specifically, we imagine that we are going to see more of the Land of Untold Stories, a place where new characters will surface from to interact with our heroes. This world was opened up in part because of the actions of Mr. Hyde, who has also set into motion the splitting-of-sorts between Regina and the Evil Queen.
You can ultimately go ahead and expect filming to continue until more than likely through the spring, and who knows precisely where the story will go in the end this season? The biggest things we do know include that the show is abandoning the split-season format, that this will feel a little more like the earlier seasons of the show, and we’re getting at least the return of one beloved character from the early seasons in Archie a.k.a. Jiminy Cricket, even if it is only for a short period of time. (Ultimately, we don’t quite know just how long his stay will be.)
