‘Ride with Norman Reedus’ episode 4 video: Norman, Robert Rodriguez talk Greg Nicotero

Just those of you who do love it when “Ride with Norman Reedus” really is at a cross-section with “The Walking Dead,” we have a feeling that you’ll like at least some of Sunday night’s new episode. After all, the sneak peek below brings up the name of special-effects guru and show executive producer Greg Nicotero..

Specifically Norman is in Texas this week, and he pays a visit to filmmaker Robert Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios. The two share a mutual friend in Greg, and they spend a little bit of time discussing their time working with him and how Robert has relied on him to create some really cool stuff over the years.

At this point, Norman and Greg’s relationship is so well-documented that the two are opening up a restaurant together, so it’s fair to say that they are close. One thing that we do really like about how “Ride with Norman Reedus” presents its star’s celebrity is that it really doesn’t shy away from it, or some of the famous people that he knows. Yet, at the same time they don’t beat you over the head with it, so this is a rather nice balance. You learn some new stuff, and yet at the same time you get a welcome dose of the familiar. We’ll get some more chances to see precisely how “The Walking Dead” plays into upcoming episodes soon.
