‘The Bachelorette’ villain Chad Johnson appears on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Earlier this week on “The Bachelorette,” we saw effectively the end of the road for the show’s most notorious villain in Chad Johnson … at least for the time being. We know that he is coming aboard “Bachelor in Paradise” later this season, so it’s certainly possible that we’ll have a lot more nonsense to speak about then.

For now, though, we present you with his interview with Jimmy Kimmel on his ABC late-night show Monday, where the two had a reasonably candid conversation about the show, some of Chad’s actions, and even some of the nonsense that he has been up to since the show … including posting pictures on Instagram kissing fellow contestant Robby Hayes’ ex. It’s all entertaining in its odd way, and there is a part of us that appreciates the sort of mass trolling that he engages in. If it wasn’t for the threats of physical violence, we’d probably even claim that he was misunderstood.

We will say that we do think that Kimmel expected him to be a little bit more wicked in this interview that he ultimately was; instead, he was more chill than anything, and admitted that the odds of him being “The Bachelor” are not particularly high. He also made it fairly clear that he acted out on the show mostly because of the fact that he felt isolated, and he felt like it would be a way to convince the guys to leave him alone. As it turns out, that didn’t happen.
