‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 Blu-Ray will present extended version of finale
The seventh season of “The Walking Dead” will not be premiering on AMC until October, but before then, you could have an opportunity to see even more of the season 6 finale entitled “Last Day on Earth.”
Anchor Bay has announced that the upcoming Blu-ray, Digital HD and DVD release for the show will come out on August 23, and an extended version of this episode will be something that we are really looking forward to checking out. Granted, it seems to be a Blu-Ray exclusive, so you’re going to have to prepare to pick it up if you want to check that out.
We also assume that there are going to be some commentary tracks that are included here, and they will go along with some of the other DVD-set fare, including a featurette about Negan, some deleted scenes, a behind-the-scenes feature, and of course something paying tribute to some of the characters who passed away over the course of the year. There’s always a lot to look forward to here, mostly because there is so much material to dive into.
There is no official premiere date yet for season 7, but rest assured that we’ll have some further news all about it coming up in the near future. Be on the lookout! So far AMC has been incredibly secretive, and most of the reason why is probably tied to the fact that they have to try and do their best to hide the character who is dying at Negan’s hand during the premiere episode.
