‘Scream Queens’ season 2 spoilers: John Stamos set to be new series regular
There is a major benefit when it comes to “Grandfathered” being canceled by Fox earlier this year; it is certainly to the benefit of one John Stamos and he soldiers on with a role on another Fox series.
sources have confirmed that Stamos will be appearing as a series regular on “Scream Queens” season 2 as Dr. Brock Holt, a super-smart, savvy surgeon who works at a hospital responsible for overseeing some of the most bizarre cases humanly possible. This is the same hospital that will feature many of our returning season 1 characters, who have decided that this is the desired career field that they want to embark on for the remainder of their lives.
Stamos has a history working with executive producer Ryan Murphy that dates back to the second season of “Glee,” where he recurred as a love interest for Jayma Mays’ character of Emma. From here, he went on to have a relatively important role on the short-lived (but rather funny) comedy “The New Normal.”
There are still many secrets still to be learned about the new season of “Scream Queens,” but for now our main presumption is that it is going to follow many of the patterns of the first season, primarily when it comes to having that mixture of comedy and gory humor that made the first batch of episodes so interesting. As you would expect, we’ll have some other news when it comes to the show the moment they are available.
