‘Saturday Night Live’ videos: Bern Your Enthusiasm, Kevin Roberts, and Totinos shine ahead of Larry David repeat

SNL -This weekend, fans of “Saturday Night Live” have something truly great to celebrate. After all, the NBC show is re-airing their instant-classic show hosted by Larry David with musical guest The 1975. Typically when we do these articles talking about “SNL” repeats, we really only recommend one sketch for a re-watch. However, in this instance it’s a little bit different given that there are three different ones that are so obviously worthy of your time and attention.

Of course, we’d also suggest that you just go ahead and re-watch the entire episode tonight at 11:30 p.m. Eastern. It’s not like there’s a lot of competition in terms of late-night TV airing tonight.

1. Kevin Roberts – This is such a silly, random sketch that someone came up with as an FBI simulator. It could’ve been written on the show five, ten, or even fifteen years ago and been exactly the same.

The real reason that this is great is almost entirely because of David playing the part of Kevin Roberts, the man who designed the simulator with a signature catchphrase.

2. Bern Your Enthusiasm – Sure, this spoof on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” starring David as Bernie Sanders is somewhat predictable, but we don’t really mind so much just because of how funny it is. When you are capable of drawing so many laughs, it’s pretty easy to overlook any complaints over sameness.

3. Totinos Pizza Rolls – What’s happening to my hungry guys?!! This may be the best commercial parody of the past year, since it manages to be start off one way before going in another completely different direction.
