‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7 spoilers: Lindsey Shaw will return as Paige

While season 7 has not been officially been declared the end of the road for “Pretty Little Liars,” it certainly feels like some folks within the production are preparing just in case it is. After all, consider the parade of former guest stars who are returning this season! We’ve already heard that Tammin Sursok (Jenna), Brant Daugherty (Noel), and Drew Van Acker (Jason) are all coming back, so why not go ahead and add Lindsey Shaw a.k.a. Paige to the next?

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the actress behind the former Emily Fields love interest will appear in multiple season 7 episodes, beginning with episode 8 (which will be fairly close to the end of the summer portion of the season).

Is it possible that Emily and Paige could try to make something work once more? In theory the answer here is a pretty clear yes, but we do wonder whether or not it will happen given that safety from “A” / other threats seems to be what Paige values. It’s in part why she wanted to leave Rosewood in the first place, and we don’t blame her for being one of the characters within this world to actually make some sense.

Given where the show is in production right now, we imagine that there will be some other returning guest stars announced at some point in the future. For us, it feels like Torrey DeVitto (Melissa) and Julian Morris (Wren) are two of the must-haves when you consider their overall impact, especially on the early seasons of the show.
