‘Mistresses’ season 4 spoilers: Don’t expect Alyssa Milano appearance

While the season 4 premiere of “Mistresses” on ABC last night brought us plenty of fun, there is a little bit of news now that suddenly lets out a little more air from our tires: You’re not going to be seeing an appearance this season from Alyssa Milano in the character of Savi.

This news was confirmed recently by star Rochelle Aytes (Savi), who passed along the following to Zap2It on the subject:

“She’s is not in it. But she’s a presence. We can’t ignore the fact the she exists. Will she come back? I don’t know.”

In many ways, it was a surprise that we weren’t getting more Savi on the new season, judging from why Milano left in the first place. She didn’t want to make the move up to Vancouver and uproot her young family at the time of season 3, which is certainly understandable and a decision we’ve seen many other actors make when their own shows decide to relocate. However, at the same exact time season 4 moved back to Los Angeles, and we still are not getting a Savi appearance. We didn’t expect her to become a regular again by any means, but there was admittedly a part of us that at least felt like she would turn up and give us a little bit of an update as to what Savi is up to now.

If she does ever turn up, we certainly still feel like there’s a lot of great story to tell between her and Joss when it comes to Harry, even so many years removed from what drove the two of them apart to begin with.
