‘Britain’s Got Talent’ results: Boogie Storm, Richard Jones latest acts to make final
The “Britain’s Got Talent” final is vastly approaching, and we would say that on this particular show Wednesday, there may have been more controversy than ever before when it comes to precisely who the voting public decided to move on to the next round.
The first choice in Richard Jones was one that we certainly saw coming based on the performances tonight. It wasn’t just that he was a magician with a great trick at his disposal; we also had a chance to see him deliver something that was fully genuine, non-cynical, and magic in the way that everyone would love to see it. Effectively, it was something that made us feel almost like a kid again, believing in magic and thinking that this was something real that he was able to pull off.
As for the second, that was a little bit more controversial of a choice between Boogie Storm (Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act) and Jack Higgins. We understand that the emotional choice was the latter, since so much of the Stormstroopers’ appeal is that they are a very good dance act who is taking advantage of already-popular characters. However, at the same time we do think that Boogie Storm will be larger players moving into the final, and could at least get a large handful of votes.
At the moment, though, we may actually say that Richard may be the favorite to win based on the people that are there. In a sea of other similar acts, this guy may be able to stand out.
