‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 23 (finale) spoilers: Is Voight’s son in danger?

The third season of “Chicago PD” is going to be coming to an end on NBC in one Wednesday night, and let’s make one thing rather clear right now: It’s going to be ending in one of the most dramatic ways ever. “Devastating” could be one way to describe this hour, given that we’re going to see Voight’s son Justin for the first time in a long time. However, simultaneously we know that we’re also going to be seeing him in some serious danger.

Can Voight really afford to lose someone else he cares about, and what happens if he does? This is something that is somewhat teased in the synopsis below, along with a variety of other things:

“When the team finds the body of a widowed, single-mother in the trunk of her car, they are shocked to discover that the victim was in constant contact with Voight’s (Jason Beghe) now-reformed son, Justin (guest star Josh Segarra). After Lindsay (Sophia Bush) and Voight find Justin has been attacked in the same manor and is critically injured, Antonio (Jon Seda) and the team know that Voight will be out for revenge. Meanwhile, Roman (Brian Geraghty) makes a difficult decision and Commander Crowley (guest star Barbara Eve Harris) has plans to make changes within the unit.”

One way or another, this episode will set up a pretty epic fourth season of the show. We’ll just have to wait and see precisely what happens next. We have seen the promo for you below, and it makes it very clear that Voight, in the wake of what happened, is going to be on a warpath.
