‘Supernatural’ season 11, episode 22 preview: The story for Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki in ‘We Happy Few’

As we get closer and closer to the end of “Supernatural” this season, one thing feels very clear: We’re going to be in for quite the showdown. You’ve got God on one side, Amara on the other, and of course Sam and Dean in the middle.

“We Happy Few” is the title for the next installment, and unlike many other episodes out there, The CW is keeping things relatively close to the vest this time. Check out the synopsis below for further evidence of that:

“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) face their biggest challenge yet. Rowena (Ruth Connell) makes her move.”

Even the promo below doesn’t do a particularly significant job of setting up what the story is going to be, other than that we’re getting something akin to a WWE pay-per-view event. This is going to be a huge episode regardless of what happens here. Is it possible that we could end up seeing Amara leave before the last episode? That is a really interesting question, mostly because it would take away from some of the craziness that could come in the last episode. Yet, at the same time it’s possible that the show could use this instead to try and set up the twelfth season. We already know that is happening, and that of course Ackles and Padalecki are going to be a part of it yet again.
