‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2, episode 6 preview: Chris’ big move and more

The second season of “Fear the Walking Dead” is going to be wrapping up the first batch of episodes at some point very soon, and moving into next week’s new installment entitled “Sicut Cervus,” we’re going to get a chance to see something rather different for the show: Chris could be making a big move! (Before we get any further in this article, a brief note: “Sicut Cervus” is Latin for “like a deer,” which originally gained prominence in Psalm 42. It’s a little bit of an interesting move for the show to go in this direction.)

If you want to get some specifics in terms of this episode, we suggest that you take a look at the attached synopsis via TV Guide:

“Conflict erupts in a final push to Strand’s destination; and Chris makes a decision that shakes the family. Meanwhile, Nick meets a new maternal figure.”

We’re really not going to say that the promo below gives away too much, at least beyond a tense stand-off, Strand still making promises he may or may not be able to keep, and then also ultimately more evidence that Travis is really benefiting well from the zombie apocalypse beard. It’s somewhat surprising that the other guys aren’t getting the same sort of thing going, because wouldn’t shaving be the last priority that anyone would have?
