‘Gotham’ season 2 spoilers: First look at Jada Pinkett Smith’s return

Some time ago, it was first revealed that we were going to be seeing Jada Pinkett Smith return to “Gotham” as the character of Fish Mooney. How was that possible, given that she was seemingly killed at the end of season 1? Well, thank Hugo Strange for that. We know now that he has the ability to revive people thanks to what he is doing with Theo Galavan a.k.a. Azrael; now, it shouldn’t come as a shock to see him do the same exact thing with Fish.

You’re going to have a chance to see this particular story take place on the Monday, May 16 episode entitled “Wrath of the Villains: A Legion of Horribles.” Want to get some more news on what to expect? Then take a look at the attached synopsis:

“Hugo Strange welcomes a familiar face to GOTHAM after he resurrects Fish Mooney in Indian Hill. Later, Bruce discovers a friend is in danger and teams up with Gordon, Alfred and Lucius, while uncovering more of Strange’s experiments.”

If nothing else, think about this when it comes to this episode: It will set the stage for an epic finale, and one that may put the character of Strange in the crosshairs more than ever before. We already know that he is a dangerous guy, but he’s not your typical villain in that his actions are less violent directly, and more for the sake of a larger agenda. He is not exactly afraid to let some other people do a little bit of the fighting for him.
