‘Suits’ season 6 spoilers: Malcolm-Jamal Warner and others sign up
With “Suits” season 6 really starting to get going with filming in Toronto, the timing certainly feels right to learn a little bit about the story … and that is precisely why we are here!
According to a new report coming in from Deadline, Malcolm-Jamal Warner is set to recur fresh off of his arc on “American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson.” Within this world, he will play a prison counselor whose job it is to work with inmates in hopes of helping them be prepared for a life once they are released. They also handle issues that come with the imprisonment. Odds are, this character could be valuable to Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who was sentenced to a year in prison at the end of season 5 after admitting to fraud charges.
Meanwhile, “666 Park Avenue” alum Erik Palladino is going to be the closest person Mike seemingly has to a friend on the inside in Kevin Miller. We are also going to see Eric Schulze (“Nurse Jackie”) as Frank Gallo, an inmate who helps to introduce Mike to the prison, and someone who has underwent quite a transformation over the years thanks to being locked up.
The sixth season will premiere this summer on USA, which is in the midst of undergoing a complete rebranding. The network is leaving behind the whole “Characters Welcome” slogan that they had for so many years, and they are putting in its place something in “We the Bold” that really accents more of their edgy personality. As reported earlier, the network is going to be airing a promotional spot soon featuring none other than Harvey Specter himself in Gabriel Macht.
