‘Supernatural’ season 11, episode 19 preview: ‘The Chitters’ are coming!

Supernatural -

Supernatural” spent most of the past month or so (at least the weeks there were new episodes) giving you some assorted cases here and there. So with that in mind, the show chose to use Wednesday night’s new episode as a means to remind you that some of the big threats are still out there. Misha Collins had a field day as Lucifer, Amara is back at her full power, and she thinks that she has figured out a plan that will ensure that God pays her a visit once and for all.

Apparently, though, the show’s version of God is one that likes to make you wait a little bit, since you are not going to be seeing him on the show’s next new episode (airing April 27) entitled “The Chitters” … unless of course the preview below is meant to throw you off.

The reality here is that this seems to be more of a funny / creepy monster of the week story, which we’re more than fine with provided that there are some funny moments throughout. (It’s got a challenge trying to top Dean’s infatuation with Zorro masks from tonight.) Hopefully, we’ll get a synopsis for this episode not too long from now, just to have a little more information regarding what is going to be coming up here story-wise.

One final note: From this episode on, we’re going to have new installments the rest of the way. That means five episodes, uninterrupted, including the big finale on May 25. We’ll drink to that.
