Is ‘Criminal Minds’ season 11, episode 20 new tonight on CBS?

The eleventh season of “Criminal Minds” on CBS has certainly been a whirlwind and then some, and it really does not matter precisely how you look at it. Over the course of this season so far we’ve really seen a wide array of different things transpire, whether it be the shocking takedown of the Dirty Dozen, the depressing exit of Morgan, or the return of Emily Prentiss (even if it was for only one episode).

So where do we go from here? Enter hiatus. There is no new installment airing on CBS tonight, and you’re going to have to wait until next week now to see precisely where the story is going to go with “Inner Beauty.” Our feeling is certainly that this will be a solid episode for the show, and one that is hopefully going to give us a creepy mystery to follow. Also, we know that it’ll be important from the standpoint of Rossi backstory, and that is something that we’re more than interested in seeing play out.

There are still in the end a handful of episodes left this season, so that does mark an opportunity for the show to explore a few new things here and there.

The one bit of bad news is that given that there are only 22 episodes of the show this season, we’re taking a little bit of an off-and-on pattern when it comes to how they are airing. There’s no new installment tonight, a new one next week, and then another repeat again. They have to stretch all of this out for a little while.
