‘Quantico’ episode 17 spoilers: Show boss on Hannah’s future, shocking moment

If you watch “Quantico” religiously, then you are probably extremely familiar already with a key element of the show’s doctrine: Making sure that you know that nobody within the cast is safe from what could be coming in their direction. It makes its living off of shocking moments, with one of the last big ones being the (supposed) death of Natalie. The only reason we’re not saying she is gone for certain is because we know a thing or two already about how this show operates.

For the time being, what showrunner Josh Safran told Entertainment Weekly about the next new episode of the series is that it is one that will definitely have many people out there leaning on the edge of their seats:

“It’s a really fun episode. We get to meet Shelby’s parents and learn their side of the story. It’s funny, you shoot these things in advance that when I watched the cut of episode 17, even I gasped at the end. It’s a real OMG moment.”

As for the fate of Eliza Coupe’s character of Hannah, the sad news is that after she was taken away, we are not presumably going to see her the rest of the season. Given that Coupe has a pilot elsewhere, it’s certainly possible that we don’t end up seeing her again on the show for quite a long time. This is of course something that Safran and the producers had to know was a possibility from the moment that they cast her, given that she is a particularly big name within the TV world.
