‘The Blacklist’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Unforgettable’ actress set to join possible spin-off

While it is still not entirely clear that the proposed spin-off for “The Blacklist” is actually going to happen, we do at least know one thing: The producers are not wasting any time now when it comes to potential casting!

According to a new report coming in right now from Deadline, Tawny Cypress of “Unforgettable” (she also recently guest-starred on “Supergirl”) is going to be appearing in the final episodes of season 3 as the character Nez Rowan. This is a part that could eventually carry her over to the spin-off, at least in the event that this is ordered.

For the time being, what we know is that Famke Janssen is going to be potentially the star of the show as a character who could be to Tom Keen what Reddington is to Liz. (Still, we don’t have 100% confirmation that Ryan Eggold is swapping shows — but we don’t know how this isn’t happening.) Also, the Mr. Solomon character will also be a part of the spin-off, even if you do not necessarily know a whole lot about him just yet.

As for whether or not this spin-off will really work, we’re not sure … but we do think that there is a lot of story to tell around the Tom character. He’s just not working as well on “The Blacklist” proper anymore as he used to. Hopefully, we’ll get a little bit more in the way of insight into this at some point in the near future.
