‘Empire’ season 2 spoilers: Lucious looks to his past to resolve his future
Throughout the second season of “Empire,” we’ve had a chance to see many an interesting story play out … with at the top of the list being some of the complicated family dynamics for the Lyon clan. Much of the relationship between Lucious and his sons is inspired by the trouble way in which he grew up; while you want to believe he could get better, he may not know much of an other way thanks to the way in which he grew up, and the people who ended up informing his life.
For the upcoming April 13 installment of the show entitled “The Tameness of a Wolf,” you’re going to get a chance to see a little bit more in regards to how Terence Howard’s character actually uses some of what happened with his mother as a means to find pain within his music. We also wonder just how much some recent actions within his own family now, including a threat he made to Hakeem earlier this week, could further inform how he is speaking and acting.
For a few more details, including a battle between Tiana and Laura, take a look at the attached synopsis:
“Tensions between Lucious and his sons continue to rise. Back at Lyon Dynasty, Lucious aims to direct his most emotional and honest music video yet and recreates a traumatic interaction with his mother for the new single. Meanwhile, on the Mirage a Trois tour, Tiana and Laura begin viciously fighting over the spotlight, forcing Hakeem to mediate between the two divas.”
