‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 16 (finale) video: Who’s after Morgan?

The Walking Dead

Let’s face it: Very few shows can get you amped up for what are effectively just footsteps quite like “The Walking Dead.” This is a show that really does an excellent job of making almost every single moment one of the most intense ones possible, and the sneak peek below is no exception.

In this clip, you can see none other than Morgan (Lennie James) walking alone after leaving Alexander, where he stumbles upon a horse. Being a guy who cherishes every little thing in life, of course Morgan takes his time to greet the animal … but is probably aware of the danger that is looming right after him.

Is there a reason to be concerned about Morgan’s fate at the end of this episode? We would definitely argue so, given that this is a character who has not wanted to kill, and the show more often than not tends to fight against this same principle. In doing away with Morgan, the show could be in many ways sending some sort of ideological message that if you want to stay alive, you better get aboard Rick’s train; otherwise, be prepared to have some really terrible things happen to you.

Of course, this is far from the last bit of coverage we’re going to have for you before the “Walking Dead” finale Sunday. Soon, we’ll be publishing our list of some of the characters we are the most concerned about, and why Negan could be coming after them with the oh-so-familiar-to-comic-readers weapon Lucille.
