‘The Fosters’ season 4: Premiere date speculation and more for Freeform drama

Fosters -Tonight, “The Fosters” is capping of an emotional third season with a finale that we have to expect is probably going to be equally so. The cast is mourning the death of relative newcomer Jack, and this will hit many of them in a variety of different ways.

We imagine that we are going to have more news regarding the finale itself later tonight, but for the sake of this article we wanted to take a moment to look forward, as we often tend to do around this time. March 28 is the latest that a season of “The Fosters” has concluded, though not by much. The first two seasons ended on March 24 and March 23, respectively, so we cannot imagine that this will have too much of a bearing on when season 4 is going to premiere. The renewal was also announced a while back, so there has been plenty of time for writers to prepare.

Given that the first three seasons of the show premiered on June 3, June 16, and June 8, we would expect the fourth season to also start somewhere early on in that month. Our feeling is that June 6 or the 13th, provided that the show is still on Mondays, are good days to circle on your calendar in pencil. Maybe look at June 20 as well, just because of the fact that we did finish a couple of days later this spring.

We imagine that the majority of the cast will be back once more, and we’ll get a chance to pick up and see where some of these characters are in their lives. There’s no indication that a time jump is ahead, but given that these are young actors who do age quickly, it has to be something the writers are thinking about.
