‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 21 video: Is Walter jealous of Tim Armstrong?

If some of your favorite episodes of “Scorpion” are the ones where you get to watch Walter squirm a little bit, then we come with good news: You’re probably going to really like the one airing on CBS Monday night.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Elyes Gabel’s character respond with a little bit of jealousy when he realizes that newcomer Tim Armstrong (Scott Porter) is every bit as good as he is, if not better, when it comes to a certain arcade game. Even though Walter may have memorized many of the visual patterns, it still may not be enough that he emerges on top as the champ.

In the end, we imagine that this is going to be a tremendous source of comedy for the rest of the team watch Walter not admit to being a little bit jealous when he so obviously is. We don’t just think it is about the arcade game, though; Tim and Paige have grown a little bit closer, and more than likely he is feeling at least a little bit threatened about that, as well. His perception is that he and Paige have something a little bit special, and he does not want to lose that in any way because of this newcomer entering his world and (at least metaphorically) cramping his style.

We’ll be back tomorrow with more news from this “Scorpion” episode; with that, we’ll hopefully learn a little bit more about what Tim’s long-term future with the team really is.
