‘Better Call Saul’ season 2, episode 7 preview: Jimmy McGill gets colorful

Tonight on “Better Call Saul,” we arguably spent just as much time (if not more) discussing Kim Wexler’s path than Jimmy McGill, but it definitely feels as though that will change more and more moving into next week’s all-new episode “Inflatable.” Jimmy is going to be sporting some very colorful clothes in this episode, which to us definitely means that he is a step closer to becoming Saul Goodman!

Also, we have a feeling that nobody around him is going to be altogether thrilled with that, but maybe these are moves sort of kickstarted by what we ended up seeing from Kim in this episode as she made some of her own big choices in regards to the future. Take a look at the brief synopsis below (via TV Guide) for some further details:

“Mike’s growing frustration shows when his hand is forced, but with Jimmy’s help, he works to keep the peace. Meanwhile, Jimmy boldly forges a new path forward.”

Of course, Mike found himself in a difficult position at the end of this past episode, as he didn’t quite get what he wanted. That is ultimately why we’re glad to see that he and Jimmy are going to be working together once more! We like the two characters, but they really have not spent a whole lot of time together so far this season. There hasn’t even been a whole lot of sticker exchanges as of late! Hopefully, we’re going to get a great opportunity to see precisely what happens when they get into each other’s orbit once more.
