‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: Matthew Morrison returns for ‘Unmanned’

Just in case you were wondering if there was a specific point in which “The Good Wife” was going to get extremely messy during the seventh season, we now may have a little more evidence of that.

The synopsis below offers up some of the first details for “Unmanned,” the upcoming March 27 installment of the show. We already knew that Connor Fox was after Peter Florrick in many different ways, and in this particular installment, we could see him go so far as to used the family of one of his top aides in Eli Gold in order to get what he wants. Also, drones! The title has to come from somewhere, right?

Take a look at the attached synopsis now for a little more insight:

“Alicia and Diane defend the privacy rights of a therapist whose neighbor, represented by attorney Caitlyn D’Arcy (Anna Camp), flies a drone over his home office. Also, Assistant U.S. Attorney Connor Fox (Matthew Morrison) attempts to use Eli’s daughter, Marissa, as leverage in the case against Peter, and the power struggle at Lockhart, Agos & Lee reaches a boiling point.”

Isn’t it nice to also see Camp back on the show? It’s been a long time now since she has turned up (think over three years), so it’s great to have her be a part of the menagerie of great guest stars the show has brought in before the series finale. We don’t know if the writers knew this was the final season at the time they wrote the episode, but it had to be at least on their mind.
