‘How to Get Away with Murder’ promotes Conrad Ricamora to regular for season 3
The following bit of “How to Get Away with Murder” news that we have right now is not going to come as much of a surprise to many people out there. As a matter of fact, the bigger surprise may just be the notion that it did not happen before now.
According to TVLine, Conrad Ricamora has been promoted to series regular for the character of Oliver, who certainly has had quite the story so far this season. Even just on the basis of everything we’ve seen so far, we know that he has a knack for hacking to get what he wants. He just completely blew up his boyfriend Connor’s chances of moving to the West Coast, and the question that now comes is what he is going to do when he finds out.
The reason we’re surprised that Ricamora was not already a regular is simply because he has been a big part of the show now for quite a long time. His relationship is one of the more popular on the series, and to go along with that, it’s also one of the more stable ones out there. It’s a serious LGBT relationship that is not being minimized, which is somewhat rare even still for network TV. There’s also certainly plenty of room to still explore here.
The third season of “How to Get Away with Murder” will likely premiere on ABC this fall. We’ll have some further news soon!
