ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 5, episode 15 preview: Will Olivia help save Mellie from a crisis?

If there is one thing that has always been at the core of “Scandal,” it is that Olivia Pope tries to fix the problems of people who need some help … provided that the price is right. For Mellie Grant, though, there is a different amount of tension given that she is someone who obviously has a history with her already.

On next week’s new episode entitled “Pencils Down,” we’re going to have a good chance to see a thing or two more in regards to the trouble that Mellie has gotten herself into this time, and if there is a path in which Kerry Washington’s character can guide her to safety once more. Not only that, but we’ve also got a few more details when it comes to what is going on with Jake Ballard, and also a little more of the strange David Rosen love triangle:

“When Mellie makes a very public faux pas, Olivia must decide how far she’ll go to fix it. Meanwhile, the Gladiators learn valuable intel about Jake’s new love interest, and David Rosen seeks advice about his love triangle with Liz North and Susan Ross.”

As we get closer and closer to the Presidential primaries, don’t you think that things are going to get a little interesting?
