‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7: Premiere date hopes for Sasha Alexander – Angie Harmon series

Tonight, we say goodbye to the sixth and penultimate season of TNT’s “Rizzoli & Isles,” and with that a chilling thought does of course enter our head: We are now only one season removed from the show saying goodbye. There are 13 more episodes, and depending on how the network chooses to air them, they could be done as early as the summer.

So when do we expect these episodes to come back on the air? As of right now, there is no confirmed return date, but there are three dates in which we’d circle in our calendars right now: June 7, 14, and 21. We’d be completely shocked if one of them is not the date.

Story-wise, we expect some mythology from season 6 to carry over, but there will probably be some more new material thrown Sasha Alexander and Angie Harmon’s way, as well, as the show looks to set up whatever the major endgame here is. We cannot imagine that the writers would come up with anything too dramatic for a series finale, given that this is a show at its heart about the friendship and collaboration between these two women. It wouldn’t make sense for them to sever them up by moving one somewhere else or leaving them devastated in some sort of way.

Hopefully we will get some more information on the final season and what it could be a little bit later in the spring. TNT is usually pretty good at releasing information about their premieres at least a couple of weeks beforehand, if not earlier.
