‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ episode 5 video: Is there a twist coming with the tribe swap?
At this point on “Survivor” with the three-tribe format, it has become rather easy to expect a few certain things. One of the largest ones is that there will be a tribe swap when there are 14 people left in the game. Due to Caleb’s evacuation, this is happening a little bit later than usual at 13.
Based on the sneak peek below, things with this swap could be getting a little strange. While it at first seems like it happens in the same way that it has in so many other seasons, Jeff Probst then proclaims that there is a twist. What could it be? We’ve got at least a few interesting ideas to throw out there right now.
1. An early merge – Given that “Survivor: Cambodia” merged at thirteen, it certainly wouldn’t be the most shocking thing that we’ve ever seen in the show’s history. We’re also getting really close to the jury phase of the game already.
2. Sticking with three tribes – It’s extremely unlikely, but you’d have two tribes of four and one tribe of five. It’s possible that they could do this for a week.
3. A different way of doing the swap – Maybe we’re doing something where the players pick the tribes, which hasn’t been done in a while; or, maybe there is some sort of competition to determine who goes where. We’re down for anything that is not random chance, given that this has screwed over many in the past.
