‘Supernatural’ season 11 spoilers: The Jared Padalecki – Jensen Ackles story in ‘Red Meat’

There are certainly plenty of times on “Supernatural” that there is a fun gimmick at the center of an episode, but we do have to admit that for the upcoming March 30 installment entitled “Red Meat,” we are going to be focusing on something that we’ve seen many times before: Werewolves. Therefore, the challenge for the writers is increased since they have to figure out a way to use this said gimmick in a way that is interesting and different than anything that we’ve seen before.

If you do want to get some more information as to what to expect in this episode, be sure to check out the synopsis below:

“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) battle a pair of werewolves who have captured two victims. Just as the brothers are about to win, one of the werewolves shoots Sam. Dean gets his brother and the victims out of the house but learns a pack of werewolves are hot on their tail, hoping to kill them all.”

We don’t necessarily see anything in there that stands out, but sometimes, it’s hard to really see that in just a synopsis! If this is just some sort of fast-paced, funny, and crazy werewolf romp, we have a feeling we’ll probably love it and want to watch it a few times over. Nobody does creature features quite like “Supernatural,” and that’s why we are going to be excited anytime we see a classic monster like this, even if we are still curious what the big wist or change-up is going to be.
