Which ‘Teen Wolf’ alumni just signed on to ‘Fifty Shades Darker’?
“Teen Wolf” is a show that, in one way or another, tends to lead to some of its stars past and present getting other work. Take, for example, what is going on right now with Dylan O’Brien and his work in the “Maze Runner” franchise, or the latest bit of news we have right now in regards to the “Fifty Shades of Grey” franchise.
According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, former show star Tyler Hoechlin, who played of course the part of Derek on the MTV series for many years, is going to be appearing in the upcoming feature film adaptation of Fifty Shades Darker in the role of Boyce Fox, a co-worker of Anastasia Steele’s. Apparently, this is a role that is going to be significantly expanded upon for the movie as opposed to the E.L. James book.
We don’t want to spend too much time in this article speaking about the movie itself, given that we’re not that site and we’re really not that familiar with the source material. Instead, let’s just talk about the surprising trend of so many TV stars appearing in this franchise. Dakota Johnson is a former star of the Fox series “Ben & Kate,” while Jamie Dornan has appeared in “The Fall” and “Once Upon a Time.” Marcia Gay Harden and Luke Grimes from the first movie also have a robust amount of TV experience.
“Fifty Shades Darker” will likely hit theaters next year; meanwhile, there are still some more episodes of “Teen Wolf” set to air.

Tyler got out of Teen Wolf because of the abominable way he and his character were treated on the show and the dead beat Jeff Davis. I hope he doesn’t regret appearing in the FSoG franchise.Lets face it, it wasn’t a great series of books and the first was a dreadful movie.
