ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 12 video: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and a ‘Blame Game’ trap
We are now a mere matter of hours away from the latest “Castle” season 8 episode coming on the air, and if the sneak peek below from “The Blame Game” is any indication, it looks as though we’re in for a rather good time. We wish we could say the same for Castle and Beckett.
Judging from the sneak peek below, it definitely looks as though Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic will be sharing a lot of screen time together, as the two are stuck within a chamber by some sort of “Saw”-like megalomaniac who thinks that it’s fun to play some sort of game with people. While facing a decision to stay in the room or leave, Beckett defies the killer’s orders and chooses to stay put with Castle, basically saying that she doesn’t care about the rules. It’s a nice romantic moment for her, and it may also be a clear sign that she’s not worried about disclosing her relationship to at least whoever has her trapped.
In the end, this episode strikes us as the sort where these two characters are going to be forced to use their brains and their history solving puzzles just as much as they are going to use any sort of physical attributes to find their way out of here. It’s not going to be at times the easiest of tasks for them, but obviously we’re assuming that they’ll figure it out. The only question is how, and we’ll detail more of that in our review later.
